대외경제정책연구원(KIEP) 주최로 8월 25-26일 이틀간 베이징에서 열린 본 회의는 중국, 한국, 일본 및 홍콩 각국의 약 30명 저명한 학자와 정책입안자들이 참석하였으며 중국의 WTO 가입과 관련된 사안과 그 의견을 공유하는 자리가 되었다.
