On February 24th, 2017, the Korea Institute for International Economic Policy(KIEP) made an Business Agreement with four major universities including Korea University, Sungkyunkwan University, Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, and Hanyang University to train local experts. The Graduate Program for Area Studies(GPAS) has cultivated about five thousands people of abilities for 10 years. The new programs in respect of each major areas(China and Russia) and isolated areas(Southeast Asia, South Asia, Africa, Central and South America, Central Asia) will be created in this year.
