The Delegation of the Korea Institute for International Economic Policy (KIEP) visited Tunisia on September 21 and organized a symposium with the Institut Tunisien des Études Stratégiques (ITES) on the theme of "Changes in International Relations in the MENA Region and the Economic Collaboration between Korea and North African Countries."

The event was attended by related experts from KIEP, ITES, and officials from Tunisia. President Heungchong Kim of KIEP, Director General Sami Ben Jannet of ITES, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Nahm-kook Sun, Professor Jae Wook Jeong of Sogang University, Dr. Saerom Han of Durham University, Former President Youngsun Lee of Hallym University, Professor Hyundo Park of Sogang University, Deputy President Kwon Hyung Lee of KIEP attended this event.

The discussion session involved many former ambassadors and economists from Tunisia, including Former Ambassador Hatem Atallah, Former Ambassador Mohamed Hsairi, Former Ambassador Adel Smaoui of, Former Ambassador Mohamed Lessir, Former Ambassador Mhamed Chleifa, Expert Contre-Amiral Tarek Faouzi Arbi, Economist Maher Gassab, Economist Aram Belhaj, Expert Noureddine Agrebi, Expert Boubaker Karray at ITES.
