This research assesses the privatization of the industrial system in Russia to provide a current view and various implications of the business climate of foreign direct investment in transforming Russia.
The rest of the paper is organized as follows. Section II discusses Russia's privatization policy. Section III reviews the privatization theory and Russia's privatization policy. Section IV examines the current status and characteristics of the privatization process. Section V looks into the current status of FDI in order to attract foreign capital. The strategy for FDI is proposed. An executive summary and concluding remarks are found in the final section.
