This paper breifly shows the current status of infrastructure development and infrastructure needs in the APEC region. It also summarizes the major contennts of the Multi-Year Plan on Infrastructure Development and Investment (MYPIDI), approved as a part of the annexes to the APECs 21st Leaders Declaration. Lastly, it provides some policy implications for korea to actively participate in APEC discussions on MYPIDI and to provide the techinical assistance based on its infrastructure development experiences of using PPP.
