[Seminar] Toward a Low-Carbon Economy: Ways to Enhance Global Participation

We cordially invite you to an international forum under the title, Toward a Low-Carbon Economy: Ways to Enhance Global Participation that will take place on September 9, 2015, hosted and organized by the Korea Institute for International Economic Policy (KIEP). The event is also being co-hosted by the Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA).

The forum is designed to discuss opportunities and challenges of transition to a low-carbon economy and highlight the importance of international cooperation addressing the new climate agreement. The presentations and panel discussions will mainly cover ‘New Climate Agreement and Korea’s Position’, ‘Aligning Policies for a Low-carbon Economy’, ‘New Climate Agreement and Capacity Building for Developing Countries’ and ‘Koreas Efforts to Cooperate with Developing Countries in Responding to Climate Change’.

We sincerely hope that foreign diplomats and journalists as well as climate change specialists would participate and enrich the discussion.
