The Korea Institute for International Economic Policy, has organized a joint seminar with the Market Economic Research Institute (MERI) and the Center for International Economic Studies (CIES) to announce the result of the resarch project it has conducted with MERI and CIES. The project involved research onsix major sectors including education, agriculture, environment, industry, finance, and trade; along with four of the worlds major regions including Southeast Asia, South Asia, Africa, and Latin America. The seminar, entitled "ODA Measures for Major Regions and Sectors," will offer a forum where participants can reflect together on development priorities for ODA recipient countries and projects where Korea holds a comparative advantage. The ideas brought forth as a result is expected to take Koreas ODA activities to another level. Participation by everyone interested in the issues is expected to make this forum a truly meaniful one.
