[Seminar] China's Foreign Cooperation Strategy by Regional and Korea-China Cooperation

The Korea Institute for International Economic Policy (KIEP) is holding an international seminar titled “Chinas Foreign Cooperation Strategy by Regional and Korea-China Cooperation” on 28th of November in Seoul.


China is emphasizing its opening to the outside world and strengthening external cooperation. Especially at a time when global protectionism is strengthened and the U.S.-China conflict persists, the Chinese government accelerates the expansion of openness and institutional reform in such areas as trade and investment. Chinese Local governments are also pushing for open and cooperative policies based on location conditions or regional development strategies in accordance with the central governments policy stance.


We will discuss the internal and external economic cooperation environment surrounding China and the foreign cooperation strategies of major regions and seek ways to expand and strengthen economic cooperation between Korea and China in the future.
