Korea Institute for International Economic Policy (KIEP) will host an International Conference on “European
Integration and the Asia-Pacific Region” in collaboration with the EU Studies Association of Korea (EUSA- Korea) on May 30-31, 2003. The conference was sponsored by the European Commission, and will be held under the auspices of the EU Studies Association of Asia-Pacific (EUSA Asia-Pacific).

This conference will prove instrumental for promoting the image and profile of the EU in the Asia-Pacific
region. The conference will provide an excellent opportunity to exchange views among scholars who
specialize in the EU studies, and explore possibilities to enhance the academic activities on the EU
affairs, as well as upgrade further cooperative activities in the Asia-Pacific region.
