This paper looks at insider trading within conglomerates as a part of unfair management, making some policy recommendations on the economic activities of Korean conglomerates.
This paper is organized as follows. Section I raises questions related to conglomerates in the Korean economy, focusing on competition policy. Based on these observances, Section II deals with the management of Korean conglomerates. Section III conducts empirical analyses to find out the negative relationships among conglomerates. Finally, based upon the empirical results, we will discuss the policy implications for the economic activities of Korean conglomerates. -
