The program was to (i) strengthen institutions specifically the Advance Center for IWRM, (ii) advance policy review, (iii) manage river basin, (iv) establish water resources information systems, and (v) modernize irrigation system infrastructure and management. Its intended outcome was successful implementation of river basin plan for Krishna-8 (K-8) sub-basin.
This report validates the completion report's assessment of the program. IED overall assessment: Less than successful.
