The policy brief adopts a unique approach to address the issue of violent extremism acknowledging the link between economic fragility and susceptibility to extremist ideology. It highlights the significance of improving financial literacy of vulnerable groups, particularly at places which were used for breeding radicalization. This strategy seeks to limit individuals' susceptibility to extremist recruiting by providing them with the knowledge and skills required for effective financial management. It also highlights the importance of financial education in promoting economic inclusion, creating resilience, and undermining the financial networks that support extremist activity
