Brian Fowler, Bloombergs Managing Editor for Japan and Korea and Sam Kim, journalist from Bloomberg Korea visited KIEP and met with KIEP President Il Houng Lee on September 3rd, AM 10 (Korea Time). Mr. Fowler asked for thoughts about deflation and aging problems of Korean economy and its possible entrance to the phase of Japanese economic depression. President Lee explained current situation of Korean economy and Korean governments economic policies including 474 vision and creative economy. Discussion on the inter-Korean economic integration for unification and prospects of Chinese-North Korean economic cooperation was also followed.
