President Heungchong Kim attends the 27th PECC General Assembly 1

President Heungchong Kim of the Korea Institute for International Economic Policy (KIEP) attended the 27th PECC General Assembly, held for two days from December 15 to 16 (Wednesday), through a series of online video conferences.

 

Co-hosted by the Pacific Economic Cooperation Council (PECC) and the Malaysia National Committee for Pacific Economic Cooperation (MANCPEC), all members of the PECC participated to discuss major issues in the Asia-Pacific region and share their views through discussion.

 

President Kim attended the Assembly, held under the theme of "Optimising Human Potential Towards a Future of Shared Prosperity and Sustainability in Times of COVID-19," as chair of the Korea National Committee for Pacific Economic Cooperation (KOPEC) and a representative expert for Korea, to interact with other experts and participants from various backgrounds, also hosting the fifth session on “Digital Economy and its Infrastructure for an Inclusive Society.”
