Policy Dialogue between Rep. Joonhyun Kang and National Research Institutes

The Korea Institute for International Economic Policy (KIEP), the Korea Institute for Industrial Economics & Trade (KIET), and the Korea Labor Institute (KLI) jointly hosted a policy dialogue with Representative Joonhyun Kang, Member of the National Assembly (Member of National Policy Committee, representing Sejong City) on February 28th, 2025 at the KIEP conference room in the Sejong National Research Complex.

Organized by the office of Rep. Joonhyun Kang, the event was attended by Sejong City Council members Jae-hyeong Kim and Shin-ill An, along with KIEP President Siwook Lee, KIET President Namhoon Kwon, and KLI President Jai-Joon Hur. Key executives and staff representatives from each institute also participated in discussions on institutional operations and policy agendas.

During the meeting, Assembly Member Kang listened to the management and policy priorities, along with the policy suggestions of each institute. He emphasized the crucial role of national research institutes as the intellectual foundation for national development and economic growth, expressing his continued interest and support for their activities.
