The Korea Institute for International Economic Policy (KIEP) will hold ‘The Second KIEP New Southern Forum International Seminar’ on December 3, 2018 at Melia Hanoi Hotel in Vietnam under the theme of “Implementation of New Southern Policy and the Importance of Korea-Vietnam Relations.” 

This seminar aims to seek concrete direction and methods to realize Korea’s New Southern Policy by recognizing the strategic value of Vietnam and realizing the role of Vietnam and ASEAN in peace-building in Korean Peninsula. The objective of the seminar is to find ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation between Korea and Vietnam in terms of not only economy, but also diplomacy, security, culture based on the three main pillars of the New Southern Policy, which are people, peace, and prosperity.
