Title [Seminar] Economic and Social Integration after German Unification & Restructuring Policies in East Germany

The Korea Institute for International Economic Policy (KIEP) held ‘The 5th Korea-Germany Economic Policies on Unification Seminar’ under the topic of “Economic and Social Integration after German Unification & Restructuring Policies in East Germany: Its Implications on the Korean Peninsula” at the Westin Chosun Hotel in Seoul on December 20th, 2016. This seminar was hosted by the Korean-German Economic Research Network on Unification, which was established by Korean and German governments' finance ministries, KIEP and Halle Institute for Economic Research (IWH) in Germany. The main reason of the seminar was to recognize the need for cooperation in sharing economic policies in preparation for Korean unification.
