This research examines the current status of non-tariff barriers (NTBs) erected in Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, and Thailand. This study is of great importance considering potential impacts that NTBs can have on trade volumes between Korea and the aforementioned countries. It also attempts to estimate ad-valorem equivalent of NTBs to compare levels of NTBs among countries.
